Senior people who have run finance inside businesses
Bright Beany was founded in 2021 by Max Polkey and Katy Dales, chartered accountants with more than 25 years' combined experience in finance. Our founders trained in practice, including at KPMG, and went on to senior finance roles inside businesses, including FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and US-listed groups.
We started Bright Beany because growing businesses deserve the kind of finance function we had seen work in larger companies, without the cost of building one in-house. Today our team is based in Nottingham and works with founder-led businesses across the UK as their Virtual Finance Department.
